Introduction

Erik joined DynamiQ Health in the beginning of 2020 as Director of Digital Strategy and shortly after that also took over the finance department as Director of Finance. As the Controlling Department, he and his team proactively keep an eye on the figures and use them to generate appropriate recommendations for management actions, so that the companies’ resources are used as efficiently as possible. In the area of digital strategies, Erik is also responsible for implementing innovation projects.

What makes working at DynamiQ Health special for you?

“There is definitely a lot of creative freedom. You have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and implement them, and you see the effects of your actions relatively quickly – I think that’s great. In addition, there are the flat hierarchies and the close cooperation with the management, which I really appreciate here.”

What makes Clinical Research so interesting for you?

By helping to bring new innovative therapies to the market faster, we’re helping millions of people to live a better, healthier life, and that’s what we work on every day. On the other hand, clinical research – as we just recently rediscovered in times of the global Covid 19 pandemic – is a crisis-resistant industry that still offers a lot of potential for digitization and improvement.

What was your most valuable experience at DynamiQ Health?

You should always honor the little moments, and when doing so, many such moments come to my mind. For example, I think that our last Christmas party, the digital Christmas party, was pretty cool. It just showed that the team spirit is excellent, even during difficult times such as the pandemic. In addition, our team – together with the HR department – won a trip on the MS Günther in the Christmas quiz.
